Great, just what I needed. I'm guessing due to the voltage drop?

Everyone please make sure you have a good battery before flashing! A charger is best for long flashes.
At the least turn off all you accessories! ie headlights, AC, radio...etc!

I had a situation like this happen and the problem was I tried to reflash what I had just read off of the ecu after I made adjustments. Make sure you are flashing the master original rather than the file that was just read from the ecu!

    No.

That is something completely different. ECUFlash takes the ROM and divides it into 12 sections. Then it compares those sections to the ROM already flashed onto the chip. Any segments that are different get re-written. The ones that are alike don't.

If it compares all 12 segments and finds them all to be identical it pops back with a message stating the ROM is identical and the flash is aborted.

Sorry, not trying to spread misinformation. Just trying to help. I still have a lot to learn. Thanks for clarifying...

So any progress on the Manual?
How to: Maf Scale? Inj. Scale? Setup 2-Step? Sample table adjustments? Etc.

Anyone else that has set these up have any screen shots maybe we can help get parts of the manual completed for Greg.

I'm almost done with it. Posted it on Bawc. It'll be ready when I get some free time. Been working on building a computer desk this week. All those hours hunched over my make shift desk sitting on a bean bag took its toll on my back. Bought myself a therapeutic computer chair and I'm building a desk to go with it. Delayed progress on the manual.

There's actually going to be 2 manuals. The first one is the basics manual which covers how to flash tune your car. The other is a technical manual about what each table does. Basically its all my "disassembly" threads tied into one large one.

Both threads will be posted here, stickies and locked. This current thread will also be locked or deleted. Each post in the technical thread will have its own discussion thread. Hopefully this will help keep things on topic. Also force people to create their own threads too instead of PMing me all the time.
