"I don't actually work on cars, I just talk about them on the internet."

Again, basic periphery operation. Disable the bits for the MAP, fuel tank sensor and the Evap system. There are 4 total you need to shut off in periphery 2.
If you're only running one narrow band and you're using a USDM SL flashable ECU, make sure your narrowband input is hooked up to the rear O2 sensor input pin (forgot which number it is off the top of my head) and switch bit 2 off in periphery 0 as well as all the O2 sensor CELs in periphery 2.
If I disable the MAP sensor, the ecu won't be able to read boost right ? And this is ok because the SL ecu has no boost circuit right?
The peripheries I need to disable are: 10, 13, 14, 15 correct ?
Is there a list of periphery definitions, I took a quick look but couldn't find them on this site am I blind ?
Thanks!

The ECU can still read boost. Just wont throw a CEL for the MAP sensor.
Your list is correct.
I labeled them as accurately as I could creatively come up with. The update is on the first page.
I got a pm from Brett who clarified he flashed my ECU with 1.1 so I went ahead and did the install yesterday (along with an EVO Map). My assumption is that I didn't wire the map properly (loose connection perhaps). But I got a MAP sensor error (P1400) and my stock boost gauge is not moving at all. Am I right in assuming that they are linked, and fixing the map sensor will restore my stock boost gauge?
Doesn't really matter to me as I have an aftermarket boost gauge, but the programmer in me is trying to create a logic base for how this new ecu actually effects my car, incase things go south in the future.
On another note, everything is working absolutely beautifully. It sounds significantly better now than it did before, with the exception of my transmission clattering. Expensive times are ahead.
I have been hesitant to ask because I knew it was a fairly dumb question.
So I extracted everythign I think. Just have one quick question. In the datasettings folder, there is a folder named 23861106 and a data file dated 8/9/09. When I open the 23861106 folder, there is a second data file with today's date(obviously the one I just put there). Do I leave both files in place? Delete the old one? Or do delete the old one and then move the new one to it's place?
"I never knew I could drive like that. I was going faster than I've ever gone before, and yet, it all seemed to be happening in slow motion. I was seeing three and four moves ahead, weaving in and out of lanes like an Olympic skier on a gold medal run. I knew I was challenging the very laws of physics."

The .bin file is your ROM that you open with ECUFlash, tune and flash to the ECU. It doesnt matter where you put this file.
The XML is the file that maps the ROM for ECUFlash. That file must go into the C:\Program Files(x86)\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi
Hey so I removed the harness from the car. I'm looking at the connector views on alldata for the adapter harness, the picture diagram is not corresponding to the harness pinout. What am I missing here??
If Im reading correctly I have to swap wires from 71 & 72 and 73 & 74. Which seems like the four wires in the top row right corner of the middle connector??

So I just started using ECUFlash with my (for the time being) SL. The reason I got this car was with the intentions of flashing the ECU with vr4 image after TT conversion. For now the car remains virtually completely stock and non turbo.
So the question is, how would the vr4 .xml behave with an SL rom. I read my ecu and saved my ROM. My particular interests is disabling CELs... since I get many from having swapped a Fed spec motor into a Cali spec car. Also just looking to get a taste of things to being overcoming the learning curve.
Could anyone provide info on a .xml for SL? If there is any
Thanks
