So it can be scaled to what ever. Nice.

Hello, great work on the ECU Flashing

I have just purchased the following for my 94 JDM GTO

    SL ECU
    Harness
    EVOSCAN
    2.0 openport cable
    LCD Boost controller
    Hotwire kit

My intake doesn't have the map sensor in it and I would be interested in testing the 3bar GM sensor. If you need a test subject, I would be up for it.

I would be ready for testing in 2 weeks.

    Glen

will targeting leaner at low loads have any affect or will closed loop operation still pull it back to 14.7?

Closed loop still pulls it to 14.7.

It'll get pulled back. I was hoping there was some kind of offset value in the code for the stock narrowbands which could be tweaked to get a leaner AFR during cruise but didn't find anything.

Guessing you're trying to improve gas mileage? The only way to do that is to disable closed loop. I experimented with adjusting the fuel trims so that there was still a correction at idle (low trim) and the other trims were disabled. Helped mileage but it needed constant fiddling in the fuel table to keep a steady AFR.

I just scale a programmable wideband to center the narrowband simulation around the low 15's, and run it in place of the stock narrowband sensors into the ecu.

yep, that was what I was after. Trying to run 15.5:1 or so under light loads to save a bit of fuel. Too bad there isn't an offset somewhere. I wish we knew how that panamanian ecu worked without o2 sensors. Anytime I've tried to run without closed loop the afr's were always moving around like you experienced.

Don't forget to donate if you are using this. Greg and Jeff have put a bunch of time in it.
