I was going to try experimenting with using the purge solenoid since its a 3 port and doesn't require any resistors to be wired in with it. The plugs need to be swapped out but that is easy. Just another project that's been put on hold while I get the bugs worked out of chrome V2.
Interesting, it is possible mine is toast since it is used and in unknown condition. I am going to also try the GM BCS and see where that gets me.

No, they just don't flow enough air. I've run into this problem with every single upgraded turbo car I've tuned. Even on my completely stock car, the most I can get with the restriction pill removed is 18psi. I'm also tempted to try setting it up as a "blocker" instead of a bleeder. This way it would work like most aftermarket boost controllers do. It's very simple to setup.

That sounds like too easy a fix.

The question becomes, "what pressure is 0% duty cycle?"

Which BOV? The better it dumps, the worse it should be with a draw-through MAF.

Don't be going around giving guys the idea that a flash ECU will solve open atmosphere BOV issues.

Wether or not you notice or care, you will run rich between shifts. This can usually cause issues. Some people get away with it because they have the springs set very tight on the BOV so it doesn't vent as much air.

I can't justify the drivability issue for something that "sounds so awesome"...

Right? Haha. Even with a tightened Type-S and R on a fully-gutted MAS prior to MAFless/SD tunes, I would only see a "best" of 12:1 [down to 11ish] between shifts. I have even made plots with a TiAL using both 9&11lb springs.

Any luck with the GM, AEM/MAC, or Grimspeed solenoids yet? I believe that the former is the "slowest" of that bunch lol.

Mine will go just a tad rich but not enough to worry about. Mine has always done that, even before i started flashin. So i'm not saying the flash ecu fixed it, can fix it, or anything of the like. I am just saying some people have much more problems with it than others.
