That and being "quick" for all of 4-6 seconds for when you hold down the button and empty the bottle isnt quick by definition of the majority. Hell a tt conversion can be had for as cheap is not cheaper than most of the wet zex, nxpress, edelbrock, nos kits brand new.

No need. A clutch doesn't gain you any horsepower. You only need enough clutch to hold the power you make. And I despise the feel of a lightweight flywheel. Anda again, its not a power adder so you are wasting your money if you want to go faster.

If it is your only ride, then nitrous is the LAST thing you want to start playing with.

Doesn't the lw flywheel lower drivetrain loss though so more power gets to the wheels? How can a lightweight crank pulley add power but a lw flywheel doesn't?

the IDEA is that in theory. technically, less rotating mass should = less power loss. problem is, you use more than one gear. each time you shift, that lighter rotating mass will slow down faster because it has less inertia. this effect is not only annoying, it effectively eliminates nearly all of the benefit of the LW flywheel.

a LW crank pulley is another joke. again, if you've got nothing else to blow money on, and your car is making piss-poor power numbers, then a LW pulley might be for you. they're not good for high HP engines. fact is, with how piss-cheap tt-conversion parts are, a LW pulley & a LW flywheel--brand new--will set you back nearly the same amount as the parts for the conversion.

it still amazes me after all these years that people approach this platform as though it's another SBC. this platform sucks as n/a--if you want power goals. if all you want is a reliable dd, n/a is great. that's the long and short of it.
