Pistons and Connecting Rods

I have for sale a set of Ross 9:1 pistons that were in my motor for about 5000 miles. They are a bit dirty of course, but are in generally good shape. I would recommend replacing the rings of course. IPS sells these new for ~$680. I'm asking $400 shipped. $350 if you pick it up to save the cost of shipping.

Also for sale are the set of Pauter connecting rods that were in my engine for the same 5000 miles as the pistons mentioned above. These rods are 0.100 inch longer from center to center than the 6g72 spec calls for. This, coupled with the 9:1 pistons, are probably what caused my high compression. However, if you are looking to run a high compression setup (I know that some guys running the new ethanol fuel want that), then this could be a good setup for you. Or if you're looking at just a modest increase in compression, either the pistons OR the rods could do. Or if you're just looking to get a motor put together for cheaper, this could be your ticket. IPS sells Pauter rods new for ~$1160. I'm asking $650 shipped, or $600 if you pick them up to avoid shipping costs.

Because these are used parts, these are all sold AS IS. I can accept Paypal, cashiers check, or cash if you're picking it up in person. Paypal fees will be split between myself and the buyer.

Is this from a spun bearing motor or a valve kiss? Is that a dimple on the crown in your first pic? You will separate rods and pistons?

Not from a spun bearing or valve kiss motor. I'm not sure what you're referring to as a dimple in the first picture (maybe an oil smudge? as these were taken with my cell phone), but I can take more pictures tonight of all 6 pistons if you'd like, and try to make them much more clear. I will definitely separate the pistons and rods, Rods are $650 shipped ($600 if you pick them up, I'm in Tampa, FL, not sure where you are) and Pistons are $400 ($350 if you pick them up).

Correct, but only if paying with a bank account. If using a credit card, it still charges some kind of fee. I just bought a $55 item yesterday through paypal and as a gift with credit card it wanted to charge $1.90.

If the buyer wishes to pay with paypal as a gift, I have no problem with that. Just be sure to give me your shipping address and what item you're paying for.
