    I enjoy it a lot more than running. My knees would swell up after I had a nice long run. (I Hyper Extended both knees years ago and they still plague me with pains every now and then) The bike is cake.

    I meed to get into a bike shop and get fitted, what should my budget be on a bike so I don't get railed. ?

    For beginning, I wouldn't pay more then $500. I would look at Trek's line of bikes. They are awesome.

    depends on what you want to do with it. $500 isn't anywhere near enough for CF...for example.

    Closing in on 3 weeks of no McDonalds for lunch.
    A couple of pounds lighter this morning and I still have all the dollars in my wallet except the one I bribed the grandson with.

    I wouldn't recommend a cf bike for any new rider. That is a pricey investment for a bike.
