    Not getting too worked up, but a week and a half on thyroid meds and I am down 3 lbs, despite us having eaten out a few times since getting to Baltimore. I've been walking a bit since being here and taking the stairs as much as I can.

    Just happy with that and the possibility of getting this under control.

    So before you were supposed to eat breakfast, now youre not supposed to eat breakfast...most dieticians write articles just to see their names on the internet I think.

    The gym Lori and I used closed on the 1st. NOt a planned thing they just closed their doors. At lease we were paying month to month and they did not charge out august yet. Now we have to find a new place.

    Yeah doesn't make a damn bit of difference. The whole "don't eat at night" thing is bunk too, along with the "eat eleventy-billion small meals per day" BS.

    How about just not drinking soda and beer, not eating anything fried, and getting an hour of exercise a day. Ive never seen anyone on THAT diet plan for more than 6 months consecutevly not lose a ton of weight. /rant. (not that I follow it)

    It depends on the person. I will tell you this. When I eat breakfast I am hungry for lunch much earlier than if I go without breakfast. I have stupid metabolism anyway so I guess eating breakfast kicks mine into high gear.

    Heck I don't even care about that. I drink beer and eat fried foods, I just count calories. Still lose weight.

    That's true, I think it makes a difference more for the individual than for any scientific reason.

    I believe in counting calories.
    I've started waiting until 10 am until I eat now.
    If I eat early I seem to stay hungry all day too.
