LOL, I assumed it would be harder. i was going to try it last night, but decided to attempt a run (or what I call a run), and after that I was dead.

i always do it in the order the PT test has it. pushups, then situps, then run. i don't have enough gas left to do a solid minute of pushups and situps otherwise.
p.s.
today i did 40/60 and ran a total of 19 minutes (12, walk 4, ran 7 more). i'm way outta shape. last fall, i was up to 40 minutes running non-stop.
Ill try to do that. Can you give me a little more info? How many pushups situps how long running is required to pass the test? Or is it just as many as you can do without stopping?
For the pushups do you have to pause at the top and bottom?
Sorry, Im just always looking for new ways to "benchmark" myself.
Look at this chart (if it works) Air Force Physical Fitness Standards
Those are the standards for the Air Force for men under 30 years old. You have 1 minute to do your push-ups and 1 minute to do the sit-ups. Resting is at the top of the rep for both. If your knees touch during push-ups or you rest in the down position you stop then and that is your rep max. Same for sit-ups if you rest laying down.
So they take your waste, 1.5 mile run time, push-up max, and sit-up max and add all the points together to give your final score. In the AF you must pass with at least a 75.
Thanks mang.
