At best you should only weigh in once a week the daily up/down will drive you nutty.

Vicky, When Lori started going to a trainer and working out he told he not to expect any net weight loss for 6-8 weeks. Workouts build muscle and that will offset the weight loss from lost fat.

It's been 2 1/2 months, Alan. I should be seeing either a lot more room in my clothes or a smaller number on the scale.....not a higher number. But, I will keep plugging along.

If you build enough muscle you could gain weight.

Weigh-in was yesterday, dropped the .6 I gained from last week. Going to Florida Monday for a week, hopefully getting all of the activity with my nephews all week will help burn away some weight and getting in the warm weather.

Round one is almost over. Maybe their will be a round two.

Hitting the gym 3 times a week now. 20 minutes on an elliptical and 20 minutes+ working with weights.

Been doing more cardio at the gym lately....I feel better with it. Still doing free weights, but not as often. Hopefully good news to report after a few weeks!!

Changed up what I was doing at the gym and am now doing more power walking and jogging. I feel better already and feel like this is working more for me.
