Don't worry, after the holidays, things should get better, enjoy yourselves. I wanted to see how many people would have trouble excercising and gravitate toward bad foods. I am one of them that has not obeyed, I did for a week or so, but I am going to get back on it. My brother is home for the holidays until he goes back to Hawaii, but he has some supplements and stuff he is going to give me so I can get serious after the Holidays about working out and getting into shape again. I really think the key here is to eat the things you want, but in moderation and also to get activity. I am sticking to this mindset. I was watching this show last night about morbidly obese people and there was this one guy on there that was a professional Sumo wrestler and he exploded to 711 pounds. By walking 3 miles a day for a month, he lost 33 pounds. Moral of the story is, all he did was drop his caloric intake count from 25,000 calories down to 10,000 calories and just walked and he is losing weight. If you stick to your recommended caloric count and excercise, you are bound to drop weight at a significant rate.

This is a tough time to diet. I don't think we have any monks on here so we all were a little 'bad.' Important to keep trying. And we have each other for support or to laugh at =)

Went to the gym today and had a good workout. I agree with the comment about moderation. I live by that. Since we've cut out so much of the processed foods we used to eat, I can tell a difference in how my body operates. Now, if it would only fall in line with dropping the pounds, I'd be golden. Of course, I know that's where the exercise comes in. And it's fun to put myself against others in the gym, as kind of a mental 'contest'. Helps keep me motivated.
