GM Maf + Blowthrough and FMIC

So this must sound like a dumb question, but how would I run a blowthrough setup with my GM maf and an FMIC?

This is what my engine bay looks like. I've never done any work on my car myself, have always taken it to 3sx, so I really have no clue what to do.

If I got an FMIC, where would the GM Maf and BOV go?

Is there a certain FMIC kit that I could buy that has spots for these components?

Would it just be easier to get DNP/CX Racing hard pipe kit + ohno's dual core fmic?

    Thanks.

If you get a typical fmic you could cut the tb pipe in half where the first coupler is after the "y". As for the bov you can have a flange welded on depending on what bov you have.

Damn, that seems like a pain in the ass. That sounds like a performance shop install to me.

Now, if you were to get the stock style hardpipe kit w/ oohnoo's fmic then everything would clamp right down without any modifications needed. Of course, this option is significantly more expensive.

yoshi... if that is a pic of your car, i really dont understand the question...

the y-pipe with the red dejon letters on it already has the bov attached to it (sits in between your air filters... probably underneath them). the gm maf is right after the y-pipe. i can see both of them in the picture. the only thing you would need to do to run a front mount is figure out how you want to route your intercooler hoses to the y-pipe. you could get one of oohnoo's front mounts and it would be a bolt on thing.

For you I would suggest going the Oohnoo dual and the DNP Hardpipe.

The only issue is that your bumper does not allow full air flow to the upper part of the FMIC. Hence the reason so many people go with the 99 front end.

Yea, I made a decision last night to go 99 front end. Expect a call around 6pm tonight . I will also be doing the oohnoo dual core and the DNP hard pipes. I'm assuming you don't want to try installing the CX racing kit? Haha.

If you go with the Oohnoo kit then either will work. I have seen the CX racing kit installed but I like the DNP kit better.

Well, the DNP is about $780 and I can get the CX Racing for $200 shipped. I'm just curious to know if the DNP is worth that price. Would you be willing to install the CX Racing kit?

Sure, as long as I don't have to weld anything on the CX pipes as I can't weld aluminum here, Don't have the equipment!!

Does anyone know what modifications need to be done to the CX Racing kit to get it to work with Oohnoo's Dual FMIC???
