That is aweful! The dog continuing to come after you is not a good sign. Whats worst is you didnt even come into the yard and it came after you. Curious on how much damage was caused. Hope you have a quick recovery!

    Sorry to hear this buddy.

Staying still is a good idea! the other thing is scare the fuck out of the dog. Why didn't you have mace or a knife or gun or broken bottle?

It broke the skin, but only a little. I noticed today there's a big ass bruise where he got me twice so I did alright I think.

I'll either go in or knock. I wont go half way.

Please get the wounds checked out and ensure the dog is up to date on his shots. Keep us posted.
Maybe I should have mentioned this before, but I really did ok injuries wise. I have a mark or two on my lower leg, and now a bruise but that's it. As far as war injuries go, mine aren't in the same league as Chris'. I was horrified when I saw his face, then more so when I saw the wounds. (you know I kid)

I was fine right after the attack. I just went on reading meters.

I wish you could have had as little damage as I did mate and could have gotten over it like me.

Not much. A bruise and some ripped trousers - right near the crotch! (this may however, have been caused by a fence I jumped - I'm really not sure)

Paul - you do realise I live in Australia and NOT in America? We are a civilised bunch here, not savages. I have been thinking about carrying a small baseball sized bat, just in case.

Glad to hear you are ok.

It's really a shame, wish they would have tests you had to pass to get a dog. Some people just have zero idea how the hell to train and handle their animals. We have 2 rotts and 4 pitbulls and we foster other bully breeds from time to time for the local SPCA, and they all know their place, because it's not the dog, it's the owner.

I'm looking for a FMIC kit, if you are selling one, PM me.
