Cool An oversight on my part resulted in an early xmas.

Let me start out by covering a few details that should be known (a little bit of a read)

My VR4 is the first car I have ever worked on and all the goodies I have in there were done by me (including the VSS). My car has been on jack stands for over a year and I finally got it all back together and on the road a month ago (fmic n blow-thru, CFDS,3sx poly mounts, hot wired 340lph, Setrab cooler, MAFT, abs/ac/cruise deletes, every fluid you could imagine, and a fresh 3sx radiator).

After all it underwent, it fuckin started! The first time. Once more, it idled too. So, I just gave it a little break in period (500 miles), and then I started beating on it. The logs looked good and all seemed fine.

When I left Dunkins parking lot on Sunday and got on her, I heard a clunk, and then was not boosting. I drove her home and started looking around. The tube (intake) had popped off the intercooler down on the bottom. After 40 mins of scraping up my wrists and knuckles trying to get at it and get it back on, I got it back on.

Let me just say, that tube was leaking the whole time. I can not believe the difference. I took my wife for a ride to show her. She said, "baby, I love riding in your car but, it makes my neck hurt."

The moral of the story, check your IC tubes.

VROOOM TSHT, VROOOM TSHT, VROOOM TSHT, AND YOUR DONE!

LOL, my wife will only get in mine if I promise to behave, and I am BPU 9b's!

I have had a few IC pipe issues. Really sucks while on a cruise with evo's and no way to fix it on the road...

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

If you haven't crushed your hand from the pressure tester launching out of the bubble, you're not getting the 3/s experience.

You are talking about her throat, not her neck. And yes, she knows what her co-pilot duty consists of when we go for a drive.

That is the beauty of my setup. If you blow one of the pipes off, it runs fine. I too am running the stock hair-dryers with BPUs.

I always say that I am behaving and it's the CAR that is being naughty.

Which MAF are you using? LT1 hopefully.

Blow thru was terrible with the LS6 MAF (the MAF leaks), but it's amazing with the LT1.
