Just leaves another 2 sources of potential leaks. Dejon makes the same pipes without the nipples, for the same price, so I'm not going to buy something I have to mess with when I could pay the same price and get something I don't have to worry about leaks/extra stuff on.

These look exactly like the ones I got off of ebay!

I scraped the hose coupler as I don't like the restriction caused by needing the use the stock spacers. I just went to Lowe's and found some silicone reducers that work fine so there is no restriction. Pus they are black...
