    It runs lean because you have a gaping hole in your plenum.

    Why don't you fix the blockoff and start after that?

    Vacuum reduction, Powdercoated misc, cruise relocate, Evo9 BOV, Custom catch cans, Russell fuel filter, SS braided fuel lines, High flow fuel loop, Autogage fuel gauge, Catless DP, DNP Y-pipe, Fuel pump hotwire.

    Well if it were sparkplug wouldn't it do it all the time?

    It sounds like the block off plates are installed on the intake plenum...the block off plate to the rear precat not being there will affect turbo spool...install that first and start over.
    91 AWD TT
    K&N FIPK, Precats gutted, Test Pipe, Blitz DSBC, Walbro 255, Vacuum reduction, SM3, MMCd, Krank Vents, 3SX Aluminum Crank Pulley, Aluminum 2PC DS, MAFT Pro (AFC mode atm).

    To do list: Need to check electronic timing, install FP hotwire, install PS poly MM, RUACAs, Setrab oil cooler, Dejon Y-pipe, 3.5 GM Mas, FIC 650ccs & 13Ts.

    Yeah I'm going to put it in that was my first guess I just got the block off plate today

    You have a new fuel pump resistor? or injector resistor pack? Two different things...

    Is it setting a MAFS code before you unplug it? what is the airflow reading on your logger when it starts up?

    Have you checked to see if the fuel pump is loosing power before it dies?

    And I blocked egr off and still nothing won't run with mass airflow hooked up

    That's the injector resistor pack.... I'm talking about the fuel injector resistor. If it's missing, bad, or the relay is not working correctly, the car will start, but once the ECU determines the airflow is low and switches to resisted mode, you loose power to the pump...

    The fuel pump relay and resistor are supposed to be bolted to the fuse box bracket in front of the airflow meter.
