Our billet wheels are made in the U.S.A. about 40 minutes from my house hehe. These particular turbine wheels are from Japan. Most that we use are from the following: US, UK, or Japan. However when we are looking into a manufacture, they have to meet several things we look for before we use their components. Particularly being ISO 9001 certified and we have them send us samples which we can test and see what kind of quality we're dealing with.

Yeah they do seem like they would be superior in just about every way. Then again why did Mitsubishi use a 9B turbo in our cars. The B series wheel is one of the worst designed wheels in existence IMO. Its common knowledge with anyone that knows airflow that having 12 equal length blades is a much less efficient design then having staggered blades like the T and G series have for example.

I think spool should actually not really be hurt. Its kind of hard to tell in the pictures but the curve of the blade is different then the 12 blade so it will probably offset the 3 less blades. For sure being 23% lighter will help it spool faster I would imagine.

Depending on our timeline (we're still finishing up our TD05's) we've got a company down in Iowa that could flow test them for us. Otherwise we'll just be getting a tester to see what these make, preferably someone who already had a 19T car that's been dyno'd so we can see the differences.
