    Radiator fans not coming on.

    What can cause my radiator fans not to come on?

    1992 TT. Already swapped the relays and checked the fuse, all are good. Yet even as my temp gauge gets up to 230F the fans dont turn on. Could both temp sensors in the radiator have gone out?

    Also the A/C turns the condensor fan on like its supposed too.

    Sorry, A/C turns on the condensor fan only, not both on low like it should

    There are two different sensors. One for the gauge, and one to tell the fan(s) to kick on. If that one went bad, then that could cause your issues.

    There are actually 4 on the 92's. 2 for the fans, (hi/low modes), 1 for the ECU, and 1 for the gauge. I jumped the fan motor with battery voltage, no spinning. Time to get a new motor to start with. Then on to the sensors if I have too.

    Have you unplugged the sensor to the PCM? The fans default to ON when you do.

    Vacuum reduction, Powdercoated misc, cruise relocate, Evo9 BOV, Custom catch cans, Russell fuel filter, SS braided fuel lines, High flow fuel loop, Autogage fuel gauge, Catless DP, DNP Y-pipe, Fuel pump hotwire.

    I had similar issue. after removing, cleaning, flushing that radiator. fans started to work again.
    Those, who stand for nothing, will fall for anything.
