Fuel pressure should be 43psi. Your fuel regulator hooked up to intake manifold nipple? If you can confirm ECU is okay check sensors per fuel system section in manual.

To do list: Need to check electronic timing, install FP hotwire, install PS poly MM, RUACAs, Setrab oil cooler, Dejon Y-pipe, 3.5 GM Mas, FIC 650ccs & 13Ts.

engine will run if you have
    1)spark:cam/kranc sensors,coils,igniter,plugs etc...
    2)fuel:most of input sensors,fuel pump,injectors etc...
    3)compression:valve timing,engine mechanical etc...
Obviously you missing something, must find affected circuit...may be you losing spark or fuel during cranking or may be you never had valve timing right to begin with or made mistake putting engine together.
Recheck timing -use this link as a guide, you will see timing marks very clearly,1994 3000GT VR-4: Engine Pictures

You will need some kind of scanner/data logger,so you can see sensors outputs to ECU and ECU outputs to control units like IAC

I've looked at this car once to try to help him out and I am going to continue to help him try to figure it out. Unfortunately I have never done the TT swap so I told him to post on here for other people that have done the swap to give some input. The vacuum is all set up right, fuel pressure cannot be set unless the car is running, it would still start otherwise with that fuel pressure. When I saw it, it started for about 2 secs, then just wouldn't start anymore. It has spark and def has fuel, the timing I have no idea about, but he says everything is lined up. He does not have a TT harness for it, but he ordered one. Rex, isn't the block weird or something with it being like a 93 block, but you set it up so it has CAS in one?

I'd check the MAF is plugging in properly, the CAS is working and that theres no massive intake leaks. Doesn't sound like timing if it starts, dies then starts after sitting for a big. As its easy, pull the ecu and check the caps too

You can sort of set the fuel pressure by running the pump without the engine going. Its not soaking the plugs on start?

Pressure wouldn't really cause it to do that, I could see if the pressure was dropping out. I wish I had an oscilloscope though, would make everything so much easier.

A maf wouldn't make it do this also because it would still start up then die out every time.
