LOL I'd say the "Gage" malfunction is completely "User Error," not the PS3. My PS3 doesn't kick off other things from the network, so maybe that is a router issue? The update thing I'll give you... it can be pretty annoying when you buy a game a month or two after the release date, and you have to wait for it to download any updates before you can even play the damn thing. However, that wouldn't be a mark against the PS3 to my thinking, but to the game manufacturer, for not working out any bugs before release date in most cases.
