The Hunter Review

Mastodon recently released a new album titled "The Hunter".

I have been listening to this album for 2 days so far, and all I can say is wow.

For the time frame they had to put this together and with less planning than their previous album Crack the Skye, this album is very well done.

The album pulls you into it leaving you wanting more. It has a very experimental sound to it along with the typical Mastodon sludge, but its very clean sound to it.

Get it and enjoy it.

I do feel some Pink Floyd in the album in certain songs too.

I can't get enough of this album, I have been listening to it non-stop. But that has been me with any Mastodon album. I had their whole discography playing non-stop for a year straight. (And I mean non-stop 24/7)

I just love the tone and sound of this album, I feel connected to it. It draws me in.
