    AC control issue please help..

Well I got my car started after sitting for around 2 months in 100+ degrees TX heat. Battery died so replaced the with new battery went to turn on the car and crank AC on, it blew cold for about 10 secs and suddenly stop all together no fan noise click or anything GREEN AC light is on. I turned off the car and cranked it on again then turn the AC controller back ON nothing no clicking humming or anything blowing from the vents either. It's a manual AC controller on 94 3kgt base model. Could it be a fuse? the controller itself? blower motor? Any help is greatly appreciated so I can get it back working Thanks.

Check fuses first. Check to make sure your AC belt hasn't snapped [don't believe blower motor will start unless compressor is spinning]. If neither of these there will be a resistor that runs the fan. It's a common failure on all cars. The try blower motor it's self.

Don't have much experience with the manual controls on these cars. But there isn't much that can go wrong really. Just check anything electrical. I assume like in most cars the AC will come on when the fan is turned on. So does the AC light come on when you turn the fan speed dial? If so then that could mean the compressor is OK etc and it's just the fan that's not spinning. But I would just be guessing on that.
