    Troubleshooting cylinder misfire code

I've been getting a cylinder 4 misfire code for quite some time now, replaced the plugs, wires, and had the injectors tested/cleaned. Car seems to pull and run well, no hesitation during WOT. I was thinking of changing the coil packs next. Any other ideas?

Check the resistor pack. Also you might try moving the injector to a different cylinder and retesting. I've heard of bad/weak injectors that were not detected in the cleaning process. Also coil or PTU failure usually results in two bad cylinders. One bad is more likely a fuel issue.

Thanks for the help! switched the injector to number one and sure enough, misfire code thrown for that cylinder now. So much for witchhunters testing.

Glad to hear that worked for you. If you get a new injector be sure to get the low impedance type the VR4 uses, not the high impedance type used in the NA cars.
