    rod knock? there is some lifter tick. Could it be piston slap? What exactly is piston slap?

    Piston is too small for the bore, allowing the piston to rock back and forth. Common with forged pistons until warmed up, as they do not expand the way cast pistons do.

    if they're good hypereutactic forged pistons, would they still have the same problem?
