I forgot they had some differences. It looks the same tho.

I called Oreillys to see if they would turn mine. Was $20 or $30 I think.
Then I figured out that I could buy a new one for $35 so I just did that instead. Made by perfection and carried at Adv Auto.
I get almost all my stuff from them at about 40% off
Glad to help anyone here do the same if they're interested.
I'd imagine an AWD flywheel would probably be $400 from the stealership.

Anyway my point is I'm surprised they charged that much for resurfacing it. I called a few places and was quoted in the $20 - $40 range.

    Yours looks great tho
A lot of times, the 3S FWD parts are easy to find cause they cross reference to Eclipse.
The AWD parts however cross to nothing. There were only 15,000 VR4s made, so parts stores don't stock parts for them. unless they cross to something else.

You can get an AWD flywheel resurfaced with no problem. I literally drove 1 mile to the machine shop and picked it up 4 hours later.

Posts like yours are what make threads a pain in the ass to read a couple years later when they come up in search results.

if there were only serious posts everywhere, this would be a journal, not an internet forum. lighten the fuck up. your experience simply underscores the difficulties to be had with sourcing MTX parts at times. call an orange an orange.

I had zero difficulties securing any and all parts I need for my Getrag, thank you. Not sure what your problem is, please go post another ATX is the roxors thread somewhere else.

Chris, if you are gonna run meth, stay under 600cc, both of todds broken engines point straight to the meth altering the burn enough for the stock knock sensor to not hear knock.
