yeah I have. Once all the features are there I'll probably switch to that. As far as I know there is no 2 step support yet and I'd still have to use the emanage for speed density.

Wow, that's a big ass core! Looks like you're getting close. Might want to put a heatsink on the power steering line before you sandwich it between your core and that radiator. The res will start to cavitiate when the AWS is active when you block off the front real bad like that.

How long till you drop it in? One last question, are you going to give your newborn baby a name?

There is no AWS on this car.

I'm not really sure when I'll get to drop it in, I'm hoping to have it running in February. It takes me a long time because I do not have very much time at all to work on it and I can be somewhat of a perfectionist. For instance my valve cover bolts look like shit, so I have another order from mitsu for those I'm waiting on. My flywheel shield is also really rusty and they are only $20 from the dealer, so I just ordered a new one, rather than try to refurbish this old piece of shit.

Then my thermostat housing is dirty looking, so I'm going to spend an hour or 2 cleaning that up. Plus it seems like every damn aluminum thread on these cylinder heads is bad. I had to helicoil the engine lift bracket on the front head. Then you may have saw all the problems I had with the cam caps. Little stuff like that really prolongs things.

I'm still debating putting the engine and trans in together as one piece or not. It is really easy with the engine hoist to get the trans mounted up and if I mount the engine first it will make lining up the motor mounts a lot easier and I can get this damn engine and stand out of my way.

I haven't really thought of a name, but if it was going to have vanity plates they'd read "Bad Day". We drove straight to Columbus Ohio and back in one day to pick it up about 5 years ago. I drove the whole way because my wife wasn't feeling well. It also had quite a few issues on the way back, so it was really altogether not a good day.

I definitely like to drop the trans a engine at the same time. I find dealing with the motor mounts easier than aligning the trans after the engine is in. It's f-ing tight though. I'll use a hydraulic jack under the trans to level the engine when putting the bolts in the mounts.

As high as possible to get the trans out the bottom, do all the top work before raising the car to final height. Cherry picker makes dropping the trans one very easy job if you strap it right or hang it from a bolt on the shift levers.

yeah I don't think you are going to get the engine out the bottom without a lift or forklift.

stoptech came in today, thanks Phil:

looks like the stoptechs come with their own brand pad now instead of axxis ultimates. We'll see how they do, may switch to carbotech.
