So, you're going to sell what has obviously become your passion, and when it's in tip top shape? That just doesn't make sense. Cars aren't an investment by any means. Only in your satisfaction are they an investment. I continue to dump the incredibly small amount of money I make into my VR4 (I'm well below the poverty line and also a student), but I enjoy the outcome, and I enjoy driving something that I created. The reasons you're selling your car doesn't sound like the right reason an enthusiast should ever sell their car, unless you simply don't like it anymore.
Vacuum reduction, Powdercoated misc, cruise relocate, Evo9 BOV, Custom catch cans, Russell fuel filter, SS braided fuel lines, High flow fuel loop, Autogage fuel gauge, Catless DP, DNP Y-pipe, Fuel pump hotwire.
The only reason NADA has it so high is because 20 years old in their value 'formula' makes it a classic. The retail value of your car in stock condition is more likely 6000.
Forgot about that whole 'classic car $10k book value jump' thing. Dude, if you can get someone to give you $15k for it and you don't ever want to drive a 3S again, you'd better jump all over that sale.
I'm with the others on this though, you'd be making a mistake to sell it now for those reasons. You dump so much money into it because you enjoy the car, not because you "have to". All that's going to happen, even if you sell for what you're asking, is you'll start dumping money into something else. Only problem with that is, most people I've seen leave the platform to do that, regret leaving.

sin hasn't even come close to spending the most $$$ on a 3/s. nor has he come close to having the least amount to show for it for the money spent.
i've very nearly got him beat on #1, and i've got him in spades on #2.
How much you spend so far IPD, Not including the car, just Parts / Labor?
including shops ripping me off or not?
it'd say it's easily in the 50k range. car has never been painted either. and it currently sits sans engine in my garage.
