How involved was it to swap the rear fenders? How did you pull the rear side glass without breaking it, Piano wire? How did you clip the inside rear fender well seam? Any tips on this would help since I'm going after a project like this over the winter.

Do you have progress pictures as you moved along with this project?

Yeah pics here http://s1204.photobucket.com/albums/...seymccomas/The making of Tangelo 3000gt

I think you are a bit confused on the rear widebody fenders, they are fiberglass overlays not replacements there is no removal of the factory quarter panel or glass required.

I had no idea they were overlays. All this time I've been led to believe the were swap outs. I was wondering about how you cut the gusseting, interior well panels, and the upright at the roof. I literally have a shell I work on and use for fitting parts before they go on my car. I must have spent 40 hours or so pulling glass, cutting spot welds, removing seam sealer, and prying, and have yet to find a way to pull the rear fenders without taking off the roof or cutting them because of how they're laced. All this time I thought widebody fenders were remove and replace. Looks like that's not the case. Thank you for clarifying Psychotron.

P.S. Can you repost the link? It's not working. Thanks!

Ok, that's hot mate. I love it. I have to say tho, having to always open the door for passengers could be a bit too much at times, but I do love the no handles look. great looking car champ.

Thanks I appreciate it. Its actually not that bad, I rarely have passengers, its not a daily driver, just for shows and cruising occasionally, the same remote I open my door with has a second button for the passenger door.

That really sucks you did all that work to find out they are overlays, when I first got the fender set I could hardly find any pictures or information about installation, My pictures are kind of random because I was too busy doing all the work and not really concerned with taking pics but there are a few in there

I had my billet grill coated in gun metal and it's not real flashy but does give it some nice detail IMO Would look good with that color.

    Off the car

    On the car

looks hot mate! love the colour and kit combination. and that GTR spoiler looks the goods!
up until now i was heading towards the CIANCI TORINO bar, but seeing your V2 bar im considering that,
your progress is evident there was a lot of work put into the car.
im interested though in your DIY Evil eye hood. have you got a guide on how to do it?
i remember reading a guide once but god knows where i did and what happened to it.

Nice looking grill. Maybe I missed an earlier post, but did you get the grill from Skillard in Oregon?

    There's no replacement for displacement.
