Autocrossed today and they handed out American flag magnets for everyone to put on their cars. Left side only, of course

My old one was pretty tattered and torn so it was time for me to replace old glory with a new one.

We replaced a few poorly made flags, but finally got a really nice embroidered one. My buddy's Eagle project was a really nice ceremonial flag burning cauldron thing and he's had a few flag burnings there.

Yeah I've been thinking of that but haven't yet.

I dunno about you guys but here half-mast is to honor those that passed...ie remembrance day, if a police officer dies in the line of duty, etc... also, there were Canadians that died in those two towers as well (I believe it was a Canadian who was the last guy out of the south tower)...the fact is people from all over the world died in the towers, plane crash, and the pentagon strike, not to mention the Canadian and foreign soldiers who went to war with you guys and died fighting for the cause in Afghanistan.

What ticks me off is blatant 'rah rah my country' without actually honoring them....its kinda like 'reborn' christians who can't be bothered with following the ten commandments, yet have to go around acting like they're better than everyone else. If this doesn't apply to you then don't worry, its not aimed at you, okay?
"This is a ridiculous cause and effect suggestion."
"Yeah, kind of like the sun rising and then morning happening, eh? What are they trying to pull on us?"

"If I wanted to hear from an asshole, I'd fart into a microphone."

"It's easy. Take the last f*ck, and let it go, and thus you shall have no more f*cks to give."

Whatever man, it was just your snide way to snub your nose at this country. You just had to bash it didn’t you? Fly your flag however you want I don’t give a shit. Just don’t come in here with your snotty comments about this subject. Keep you political bull shit in the politics area and quit disrespecting the people that are proud to fly the American flag.
