    GM MAF blow thru questions.

Does it matter which way the gm maf plug points, and should I be leaving the screen in it?

    Thanks.

The MAF has an arrow on it for proper airflow direction. Making sure that it is pointing the right way is what matters. I've heard of people removing the screen, but I wouldn't. It's design is for straight airflow so the MAF wires can properly read air mass.

I just wasn't sure if the wires inside HAD to be vertical or not. I got the arrows pointing the right way, that was the easy part.
