Um, no you got banned because of the daneboy incident. I know that for a fact, because I'm the one who banned you. I don't ban people for the vendor thing, that's not my job. And I don't get paid, nor having anything to do with vendor status.

As far as preforeclosure taking 6 months.. yes, yes it does. And I was going through that before I got his parts. Divorce proceedings were initiated, I got kicked out of my house. I had no computer, no internet. IDK what my info was to log into that site to get into contact with him, I had it stored on my computer as a random password, so I had no way to tell him what was going on. Shit got stored and lost, I moved into another place, dumped out my storage bin, found the parts and sent them back.

If 3sgto wants to act like schoolchildren joining a fight that isn't theirs, I can be off and go my separate way. I didn't know that coming back on to ask for help was going to start problems and apparently now a personal vendetta with members that weren't even the affected party. I've said what I needed to say to clear my status as taking parts, I sent them back. You want prof, ask him.

This site needs a classifieds moderator. On the other site you have to post things in the right place and be actually involved in a deal to complain.

I actually posted in here interested in what he could for parts. His history on the other site has been shared. I have been burned in 3 different buys for a significant sum of money.

If a history of going missing with 2 members parts, and being banned for selling parts without permissions is not a red flag I am not sure what would need to happen to bring concern. As I have stated previously if he actually returned the parts props to him. There are pm's to the 2 people that were involved.

My posting has nothing to do with the deal, or complaining about it. It does however have to do with concern for someone with a history of issues in completing a deal, and staying within a sites selling policy.

I was well within policy, and one of the mods didn't like that I was selling at all. Policy at the time, as it was explained to me, was that you can sell on the side as a non-sponsoring vendor below a threshold level. I never broke that threshold, yet was banned for it twice. I looked into actually becoming a sponsor and would have lost multiple times what I would have ever made. I don't do machining for the platform to make money, I do it because I enjoy making parts people get to show off. Making money on a hobby is a terrible thing to do and a good way to hate it.

2 member's parts? Wth are you talking about? I had parts from daneboy and those have been returned, I have no idea whom else you are referring to. I got upset because I posted asking for help in another thread and you come in saying "How about you sending the partsyou stole from at least 2 people back then try to get some advise?" without even asking if the problem had been resolved, nor had been one of the people involved in the first place, aka hearsay. I understand your concern, I've been burned in deals myself, having purchased tooling to run jobs and then the buyer backing out at the last minute and leaving me high and dry, but I don't go around knocking someone asking for help when I have never dealt with them before.

Also, in daneboy's position, I am genuinely sorry for what happened, I never meant for anyone else to get caught in the crossfire of my own personal business, but shit happens, all I can do is what I did and apologize.

Did you ever return Tazz 375 spark plug cover?

Fwiw i read his thread last year or so and asked him to cut some spark plug covers for me .. He was game for it but needed measurements so ...I had a polished vr4 one in the basement I wasn't using and I shipped it to him for a schematic and basically from then on got the same run around your talking about ... He was busy but promised he would get it done but he never did ... And I never saw the spark plug cover again either .. Personally I wasn't concerned .. If he wants to be a douche then so be it, but after seeing this post I'm guessing I should have stepped up and said something ..

IDC about your previous banning for the vendor thing, hell knowing how I feel about "vendor status" I probably fought FOR you (which is what partially lead to my removal as a mod for a little bit). I'm not here to start drama, I'm just following up since I know people will come here to sell stuff after being banned for classified issues on 3si. I just don't appreciate people acting like it's my fault you got banned when there was a legitimate reason. I'll talk to daneboy and Tazz, and if all parts have been returned I will lift the ban.

You weren't the one that made a 6-speed transfercase cover/brace out of billet like is on the DSMs? I'm probably confusing you with someone else on the forums that was making some parts for Permanent Grin.
