Dropped an engine in my VR4 !

I finally had some time to put the motor I bought into my VR4. I am nearing the end of installing everything.

I got everything in the engine bay hooked back up. All I have left to do is the transfer case and driveshaft. The suspension and brakes. Driver side axle still needs to go in and the exhaust needs to be connected.

I found I was missing a purge control valve so as soon as one of those i will install that.

Now my question: I should be able to start the car as it sits. It turns over fine but did not fire. I checked the fuel rail first and it is getting fuel. So next I will check for spark. Nothing that I left undone should cause it not to start correct ?

cant wait to get on the road as I have never driven this car !

You probably missed something, make sure everything that goes to the coils is hooked up. Search the engine bay over and over, MAF hooked up? Grounds? How old is the gas?

OMG - I thought it said you dropped an engine ON your VR4!

Glad to find I was wrong.

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.
