3SGTO is almost a year old.

Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of this site going public.

What are your thought and comments about how the year has gone?

    What did I do well?

    What could I do better?

It’s gone pretty well I’d like to think. I would like to see a bit more traffic but for a site one year old it’s doing damn good.

You’ve done a good job listening to the people and trying to give them what they want. You get a good feeling this is a forum for the people.

To be honest I can't think of a single complaint.

I've been very impressed with how this site has been run. Allowing threads to take their course without being closed, deleted posts, etc.. as well as how the Steve68 situation was handled is all very impressive. There is a community feeling here, that carries over into the ownership as well as the moderation. The first time I saw the link "Donations for Chris Hill's Cancer fund." link at the top of the page it brought a tear to my eye. Nowhere else will you find such a tight knit group of car guys, who really care about one another as well as the 3/s that brought us to this site.

Last but not least, thank you Alan for making all of this possible. Here's to another great year on 3sgto

Alan, I think 3SGTO is an unqualified success, especially considering the dynamic that brought it about.

The pains of separation have been minimal, all things considered, and the remnant grumblings about venders and allegiances, etc., while occasionally regretable, have served to clarify some good and bad things.

"Crossover" traffic will no doubt continue, but not at the expense of critical loyalty or preference.

    A job well-done, truth.

    PS-

A small quibble, but could you do something about Corey?

This site has done great, I love it. You have done an excellent job managing it and giving the people what they want.

Lets hear it for more years to come!

i agree with what others have said, this is the forum for the community. let's make more references to this place on the other site... withhold information when answering questions, and tell them they can find more detailed answers here.
