    Wheel Hub Assy.

    Hello old friends How have y'all been? It has been a while eh?

    Anyway, I have a front wheel bearing going bad. I know I could buy just the bearing by itself from the bearing supply place here in town, but I am hoping that I can find a Wheel Hub Assy. for rather cheap. Does anyone have a clue where to get them for around $60?

    If it's a VR4, you cannot buy just the bearing. It comes as a hub assembly. The cheapest place to get it new is Cherry Hill at around $100 shipped.

    Get them from Cherry Hill that's what I did. You can buy the bearing itself but you'll spend way more than the assembly itself getting it pressed on, assembled, etc.

    I keep hearing people say that... It is absolutely untrue. I'd invite anyone to press apart their old bearing and look for themselves. The TT bearings are a hub assembly. There is no servicing the bearing separately.

    I've had a shop do it before. It can be done. You need to have the right tools for it. I believe there's a breakdown in the service manual.

    I have done it before myself. I have a press and torch here at the house to do it, I have done tons of wheel bearings, including VR-4's. I have a bearing supply that can get me any kind of bearing as long as I have the number. I just wanted to actually unbolt one hub and bolt on another without much hassel. I found one for $79 free shipping.

    The hub is pressed into the inner race of the bearing. You press the hub off from one side, then flip it and press the bearing out the other, assuming you can get the bearing to come out without falling apart. It has to go together some how, so it can come apart if you know what you are doing.

    our hub assemblys were so cheap, I just went with new hubs...
