Taller in front after ECS strut replacement

I just replaced the ECS struts on my 3000GT and now the front of the car is 1/2" taller than the rear of the car. I did some searching and it looks like it could be the Strut insulators that are the problem. Strut insulator bearing madness

Is there anything that can be modified to drop the front back to stock height? Is this going to cause any problems if I drive the car like this until it's fixed?

Did you put the top spring mount in line with the lower spring perch? There is a hole in the lower perch and the upper spring mount that need to line up.

It should go away and it should be fine to drive it.

I didn't install the parts myself. I'll ask about that when I take the car back in.

I thought only replacement springs settled on their own, but struts do not. Is that not correct?

The aftermarket insulators are taller than the stock ones. When I did mine I bought the aftermarket ones and noticed how much higher they were so I retuned them and bought stock ones. After I realized the whole thing was rubber I think they would have been fine but the stock ones were still better. From what I remember it doesn’t take too long to break in and start to look normal. Anytime you replace struts you need an alignment though.
