Did anyone else "suffer" post-operation? I was unable to comfortably eat nor digest my food because of a "shy intestine" as I recall. The procedure required touching it to remove my appendix. This was ~3.5 years ago, but I clearly remember that I could not fart to save my own life LOL!

The lesson learned was do not eat sushi from a place with the word "Sushi" in its name down south toward the border. I should have known when they failed to make a proper miso soup

I really don't remember much, its been about 19 years. I do remember I was still in pain for awhile and that I was out of school for a week, and couldn't participate in any vigorous physical activity for 4 weeks.

I honestly couldn't believe you were having an appendicitis since you were just having a conversation with Jesse about his just two days before. I thought you had over did yourself trying to walk around with Dawn and the kids at boomsday. I'm glad the surgery went pretty smooth and I sure as hell hope you guys can stay out of the hospital for a while.

Talk about Irony, Paul. Its a good lesson to teach to your kids...lol. I thought about that all the way to the hospital.

I text my mom when I woke up at 3am yesterday morning and I joked about it...I guess it wasn't a good joke.

Brian, right? It is funny that you mentioned that. When I returned to school and work, I could not exert myself physically including measly lifting due to abdominal pain from two incisions. Inventory was fun at first, but it sucks when it carries over onto your responsibilities lol. BTW, I have not seen you post in forever, but I guess that is because you are mostly here now.

Anyway, I am happy for the OP! They sent me home with some Morphine, but it did not compare to whatever it was that they injected into my IV; talk about instant pain killer!

Yep, its Brian. What I was most disappointed in was I wasn't allowed to participate in gym class and part of the time I was out they played hockey.
