Hey man, did you ever get those DR-900s rebuilt and the car going again or are you working on something else? Yeah I just decided that I didn't want to mess with the bodywork. Frankly, I'm just burnt out on this car. The odometer and title both say 26,210 miles. I've never driven the car in the last two years working on it. I had it started and running all of maybe 20 minutes total. Had it not leaked coolant this last time because of someone else's mistake I probably would have finished the car but another $1500, months of wait, and all the time it took to pull everything again just did me in. I don't have the time for a huge project right now unfortunately. I'm hoping someone that wants a first gen VR-4 buys it. If the dents, front bumper, and seats were fixed it would look mint.

I apologize. I thought that you could click on them and it would enlarge the picture. I'll post the full size image. I'm located in Topeka, KS.

I took some pics in the day light today but since yesterday some birds pooped on the car so it's dirty again. I also noticed there's some hail damage on the car. They're all smaller than dime size on the top side of the vehicle, but I want everyone to be aware. I was very disappointed to see that because that only means more bodywork and I had no insurance on the car due to it sitting non-running. It has plenty of potential though just needs more work to get it mint.

I got the rest of the fuel system off, some of the gauges, and engine management. I need to pull the dash to finish and I'm debating whether or not to drop the subframe to pull the rear end, or just sell it with the car and buy a 5-speed diff later down the road. I didn't get the shifter and shifter cables out yet either.

Yep, got them rebuilt and got them back in the car. Just have to wrap up a few odds and ends, then break her in some more and then its back in the garage before taking her to get tuned. Hopefully she'll be all done come spring time..but as you know, if its not one thing, its another.

Absolutely. After the machine shop incorrectly o-ringed the block I decided a break was necessary. I'll be going back to a TD04 simple setup and when the time comes again for a big project I'll pick it back up again. It always does seem like a never ending process sometimes.
