Best way to break in a fresh motor.

I should have my car together this weekend. The rebuild is complete with new rings, new aluminum pistons, king bearings, machined heads, 60k and some valve work. Whats the best way to break it in? What type of oil and what type of driving do you prefer? I know some people strongly believe in breaking it in rough other prefer to be nice and easy... Whats the best way?

Next step is 97 front conversion with 99 VR4 wing and new paint, work will all be done by me.
