Why would it not be safe? The spacers are bolted to the hubs, the wheels are bolted to the spacers. Friction does all the work, same as before.

I have always read people giving opinions about wheel spacers from OK to not safe, never knew what was what.

/ thread highjack...but free bump right?

Just so everyone's clear, these are the kind of spacers I used. Hubcentric; so the lip on the hub fits perfectly inside the spacer, and the lip on the spacer fits perfectly inside the wheel.

Regular spacers (like the ones I used in the rear) thicker than 5mm are frowned upon because you have less threads to screw your lugnuts onto. In my case I used 3mm in the rear (perfectly fine) and since the spacers are studded in the front, it's a non-issue.

Thick spacers like these, with no studs, are bad news and that's NOT what I used.

I think there are a lot of misconceptions/misinformation about spacers but I did a good amount of research before deciding to go with them.

    Hope that clears things up

Battery replaced. Alignment completed yesterday (lifetime @ Firestone).

Going to try and wash the car sometime soon and take new pics.

The springs have settled nicely, so the car sits nice and low now

    Beautiful car Pez! GLWS

I had 25mm spacers on my Audi and they were the same kind that you used, hubcentric and with new lugs. They worked perfect for me and I did some pretty aggressive driving (ie 4 wheel slides going around a turn on the track etc) and I never had any issues.
