SSM - what happened to them?

They've gone missing over on other car sites too. Tried asking a few members here via the chatbox what had happened but really didn't get anything clear. Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me a heads up?

Yeah. It's shitty because I understand the mods can only do so much, but some of them there (and here) knew about Warren working there yet didn't pass on that info. I tried searching here but couldn't find anything. Would be nice to know what happened and why they aren't sponsors here.

And exactly where do you make the assumption that they "didn't pass on that info". Also, the information the moderators had was from things that members posted publicly on the forums. So everything they "knew" wasn't privileged information. What, they were supposed to jump into every thread SSM started and say hey they employ Warren? Sorry, but it seems to me that people are trying to lay blame in the wrong direction. In fact, I haven't seen SSM lay any blame at Warren's feet. And I haven't heard about SSM turbos blowing up, which was Warren's MO.


Also if I remember correctly, I can go back and find the posts/threads, several members came to the defense of Jesse (the owner of SSM).

WTF, their "DUTY"? Seriously, how fucking hard was it to google SSM in the google search box on 3si? I have said it before, I don't give a shit how much money either site makes. I'm sorry but the mods aren't there/here to hold people's hand.

There ARE more than one thread about LMI/Warren/SSM, what do you want a new fucking one every week? Hardly anybody reads stickies anymore, every week I got at least 10 requests on how to become a verified seller when it was in big RED LETTERS.

I didn't like the fact the SSM became a vendor on 3si, as I thought he wouldn't pay the cost (because that is what he said). But then he paid, and I thought it was only to peddle Cianci shit.

There were members who could vouch for Jesse and went to his shop. In fact, people that posted in the LMI=SSM purchased from SSM knowing full well Warren was there. Also they had positive feedback. Read the last 5 or 6 posts, shit read the whole thread.

Also other than Patryn and one another member (that hasn't started a thread), I didn't realize there were so many people waiting. Not that it matters now because all I can do is read. Also there isn't much a moderator can do once it has been several months. Whenever I contacted ChatzVR4 he was very quick to respond, like within a couple of hours. Other than opening up communications and banning people, the moderators have "no more power" than the individuals involved.

The funniest part is all of a sudden it is the mods/Warren's fault for this whole debacle... where is Jesse's name during all this. After all he has put up the licences and Tax ID to prove it is his business.

The ONLY things that the mods can be held accountable for now is why SSM is still a sponsor on 3si. Maybe it is in the works, but I would be making sure their subforum is taken down, but that usually takes some time over there.

I didn't blame April for anything. I just personally think the mods could have done a better job with the information they had, that's all.
