Question How much have you spent on your 3s and how much do you think its worth today..

So ok was just looking at some classified ads on here, the other 3s site and CL and just so sad to see how dang CHEAP our 3s'es are going for these days... so was wondering how much have you spent on your car since you bought it and how much do you think it is worth today?? And yes I understand it has "emotional" value and so on and so forth but I'm wanting to see the real world $$$ amount you think your car is worth as it sits..
3s Less Forever hate to say it...not going to get sucked in again..

Bought the car for $11K in 2002. The last time I added up all the costs, it was around $25K... I just did a quick and dirty summation from memory and I get $36K (including the cost of the car).

I need to install some parts and drive this slut... No reason it should break this time.

Based on what I've seen of the 3S market, if I had to sell it today, I'd expect to get around $10K ... But I'd never sell it.

More than I liked and not enough. And the real kicker is that I don't have much to show for it. Altogether I could have bought a low mileage C5/C6 Z06. I don't think buying tones of parts cheap, whether they be just for extra or mods, is really the way to go. I would have saved a lot more had I just taken the VR-4 to Monet or Pampena for a 600awhp build, done right and with all parts new, right after I got it.

Bought the car for 7000 about 7 years ago. I don't know how much money I have put into it and I don't want to know. I really don't have any idea how much an AWD TT converted car is worth. I guess it doesn't matter because I'll never sell it. No way I would get enough to part with it.

bought for 6 grand in 2005 with 88,000 on her, and i have NO IDEA how much i have dumped in her...

...that said, its irrelevant to me what shes worth, as the list of occurrences that would force a sale is VERY short

I've invested between $30 and 40K over the years. Because of the high miles on the car, I couldn't get $10K for it. Of course, selling it would never be an option for me. I love that car too much to ever put a dollar value on it.
