    My New Autox/Gymkhana car :)

    1988 Mazda RX7
    it's the base model,but the guy put almost all of the GXL crap into it.



    Mods include
    Exterior: small 86 gxl wing
    S5 tail light conversion
    T2 hood
    Gtu power mirrors that function
    Custom airbrush Efini logo
    Mb motorsport 16x7 black and polished wheels
    5 lug conversion
    Black projector headlights
    6000k hids


    Suspension:
    Tanabe GF210 1.5 lowering springs
    Hp series tokico shocks
    Front and rear strut bars

    Brakes:
    Drilled and slotted rotors all the way round
    Powerstop pads
    New rear claipers both sides
    New front calipers both sides

    Interior:
    3a blue and black racing seats
    Aftermarket small stearing wheel
    Kenwood speakers all the way around
    35% tinted windows sides and rear

    Motor:
    Power stearing, ac, and airpump delete
    Air control valve delete
    Electric fan conversion
    Racing beat header
    Racing beat presilencer
    Turbo tuff full 2.5 cat back exhaust
    Magnacore .10 mill wires
    Ngk plugs from Banzai racing
    K&N intake kit
    Banzai racing double belt altenator pulley

    Misc:
    New Altenator
    Fuel pump
    Plugs, wires
    Front inner and outer wheel bearings

    The only thing it doesn't have is an LSD, which I am trying to find a GXL that has one stock I can use

    That is quite an ugly car! It looks like it might be a lot of fun, please keep this project updated on here.

    Is 16x7 a legal tire in STS for RX7s? You might get boned due to the size of your rims and have to race in a higher class.

    on the purdue team, we don't have classes, we just rent out u.s.41 dragway's parking lot, set up cones, and have fun. If we go to a legit SCCA meet, i'll probably use my new XRunner because it's stock.

    Ah, carry on then! I wish I could have done that, had to swap my Miata rear diff to compete in STS rather than STR.

    I took my talon to an SCCA meet, and the blow off valve somehow warranted me being put in STX. a fully stock TSI with a blow off valve, in a class with striped, caged, and sponsored civics. idk
