It can never be so simple can it?

MODS feel free to delete if you wish, will end up being a useless thread, I should have just added this to my other one even though it was off topic. Thanks!

EDIT: I got it off, ended up driving the bike to 7 different stores to find one 10mm crows foot wrench. Autozone was the one who ended up pulling through. once I but a wrench designed to not snap over the bolt it worked. So in the end My lesson is to start with the crow feet first haha.

So before I had posted in one of my other threads about my car not wanting to shift and I had found dot3 fluid under my car. Alas I figure its slave. So I order, wait, and then yesterday replace it to spot the real problem as I bleed the new slave cylinder... the high pressure flex line.... So there I am staring at this small drip when my brother pressing in the clutch realizing the slave was fine afterall. At first I was worried the master was bad but since I saw that I was relieved..... Until now....

I felt it was ok that line was leaking, it had to be 18 years old anyway so i figure its time to get a new one. I started by disconnecting the hard line from the slave again and then pulled the clips off both ends of the brackets where the hard lines meet the flex line. This is where i am about to sell this car. Both flare nut fittings will not unscrew from the flex line. I used box 10mm on both and a 17mm on the flex line and one side on both nuts got rounded from the 10mm wrench. so I cut a slot in the closed end and no glory there either it jumps over the nut still... the bottom isnt a huge concern i can replace the hardline with it but i will not be tearing the whole car apart to just get this top end nut loose so i can replace my flex line and drive her again...

What has anyone else done to get past this?

Go to junkyard, or to classifieds section and buy new res with lines all the way to the trans. Another recc, get with GZP and send them pics of the parts you damaged and have them give you a quote on parts and send you what you need. They know these cars inside and out and have a huge surplus of parts so they can get you everything in the first stab and you won't have to go on a witch hunt to make the repair.

Its good now, I managed to get it off without completely destroying the nut. Thanks for the info though.
