    Hmmm ok.

    replace the bearings, check the engine, then throw it in the SL or Base (whatever that is in your country)

    I’d just drop it in one of those rolling chassis then. 3.5 can be pretty fun in a FWD.

    Same as a Debonair sump mate. They only came in FWD.

    I was under the impression the debonair came with the cut for the transfercase or something?

    Incorrect good sir. They were a FWD only model, thus, no transfercase. You will find this is the case anywhere. Even on john monnins website. Even with a debonair sump it needs to be modified to clear the transfercase

    Just realized I used the words "Even" and "Case" way too much in this post.

    It's a direct drop in...(as discussed in many other threads) i.e. it's in FWD layout. Basically EXACTLY the same as a 3000GT engine. The montero one will need the 3000GT heads and god knows what else to work. The debonair one just goes *plop* straight into a 3/S/Magna :P
