I just want the stuff that's visible to be polished and I haven't used one of those OEM-style spark plug covers in years... Although there are some nice looking $15 carbon fiber covers for sale on the Chris-Auction site, so maybe I'll just buy 1 of those.

As for this specific thread and the rear valve cover... The only thing I'd like to see polished is that recession near the timing belt. Again, I don't know if it's common practice for that to be left un polished or not.

I've got a 1gen core I'm in the middle of polishing up right now. If you want I could attempt to polish up the recession near the timing area, although the core itself isn't perfect (cracked plug holes & some odd stains in the metal that I just can't seem to get out). Let me know if you're interested.

I have a front core that was somewhat polished but oxidized really badly over the years. it was shaved and has a corner filled in "JB Weld" due to a hole in the cover. It's yours if you can use it. just let me know.

I also have a ton of parts to get up on the auction site just need to find time to get them organized, inventoried, Photos,ETC

Lets get some input on the prices. Remember, you're not buying a part but rather supporting Chris. (won't be selling them for my regular next to nothing prices.) Also need to factor in shipping.

It makes me sick that not one piece has been sold to help Chris. If nothing else we need to find a better way to raise the funds.
