yeah it would be pretty front biased depending how large the rotor size is vs stock like the bigger bbk kits usually are.

handy diy person could of course upgrade the rears too, cayenne rear calipers could be bought for about 300-400 a set.


stock brakes sure are good on our cars but they overheat pretty quickly and become useless after that

One of the reasons I got in on the XYZ group buy was because it was only about 1% bias up front but could stand up to the abuse I threw at them. The fronts don't lock up compared to the rears, a big complaint with people that bought the Ksport 3s front kit without rears. Something to think about, rears should match.

I also got the XYZ kit and I can confirm that the bias is very close to stock even on the track.

i'll go front and rear, as i've got all 4 calipers.
need to find out rotors.
hopefully this week I'll get some used evoX discs in order to see if it is possible to use them.

been wondering, from where do you get XYZ discs when you'll need new ones? any other bbk discs available, just the rotors?
as it seems easier for me to buy discs that will fit 100%, then looking for other solutions.

I need 350-355 front and 330 rears.

You could also try contacting Airtekk. I think the guys name was Martin. For our cars they sell 355 front, 345 front, and 330 front. They have 2 piece rotors and 2 piece floating rotors available.

I'm glad as I've just place an order for new brake pads from TRW, and some other small stuff for the cayenne calipers. had these on Cayenne and I really enjoyed them, even they are a little bit dusty but without any noise at all. will see how they perform.

I have checked the 370Z front rotors, and it seems they will fit with just a little machine work on the hub, it needs 1mm to be removed.
also, the ET of the rotor will place the calippers 5mm inside than the stock ones, and they are 32mm wide, which is the same as cayenne rotors.
the 370Z has 355mm rotors while EVO has 350. using the EVO's will place the caliper on an outer position than the stock ones, not to mention the 370 ones.
So, I guess, I will go for the 370 ones.

will decide tomorrow when I'll have some more time.

the biggest problem will be for sure the rears, first because of the ebrake drums and second because of the fact that EVO and 370Z are only 22mm wide.
Cayenne has minimum 30mm for the rears so I guess a 22mm it would need thicker pads

been reading more about what others have done using the same calipers on other platforms and it seems that it wont be a problem using only 22mm wide on the rears, instead of 28mm.

tomorrow I'll receive new brake pads and will check fitment with some new or used EVO rotors that I will hopefully get my hands on.

Honestly I haven't checked into replacement rotors for the XYZ kit yet.

I'm very interested in what you work out. Definitely keep us posted.
