    Cayenne/touareg/q7 BBK upgrade (product idea)

brake caliper adapters for the Z18 (v10 touareg/cayenne turbo/Q7 ) front brembo 6 piston calipers that use 350mmx34mm rotors stock.
Porsche parts number 2003 - 2008 Porsche Cayenne turbo Z18 caliper use with 350-380 x 3x mm rotors
    955-351-421-22
    955-351-422-22
most common upgrade for the audi a4 b5 s rs.., porsches and for many VW concern cars,BMW's and japs too ...

cayenne Z18 brake upgrade FD RX 7

    374 x 34 mm front rotors Z18 brake upgrade BMW 335

    345 x 28 mm rear rotors Z18 brake upgrade BMW 335

Cayenne/touareg/Q7 Z18 calipers typically sell for $500-$800 for the pair online but if your lucky you can find them for even less than 500$

These calipers should work with any 350-380 x 3xmm rotors with the brake caliper adapters . this caliper is a common upgrade for the Porsche 930 turbo from 1981-1989 and they use 355 x 34 mm rotors

I think evo x brake rotors would be a good choice, the price is very affordable and parts are very easy to source.
Floating rotors vs solids the choice is yours

or you can buy used rotors for very cheap

the 330mm rears on the EVO X will bolt up, but they do not have the same handbrake as the 3000GT
I think paul_666 remembers wrong evo x rotors are actually 1,3mm or so outer but that is only a positive thing IMO, more room for the adapters. the cayenne front calipers are much slimmer than our stockers so wheel fitment shouldn't be an issue.

    rotor specs
    EVO X__________________2g 3000GT
    Diameter : 350___________314
    Width : 32_______________30
    Center Bore : 69___________69
    Depth(offset) : 43,7_________45

cayenne stock rotor size for the rear is 330mm so evo x rotors are a perfect match for the rear too !
cayenne rear calipers could be bought for about 200-400 a set

    additional front caliper info:

18Z cayenne turbo caliper_____2006 cayenne turbo S front caliper 19 Z_____2008+ cayenne turbo 19Z caliper

    Brembo 6 pot 17Z - pistons 34/36/38 total piston area = 3060mm2 cayenne s and some V6- V8 touareg Q7 etc these calipers use 330mm rotors stock
Brembo 6 pot 18Z - pistons 30/34/38 total piston area = 2750mm2 cayenne turbo v10 touareg v12 Q7 etc these calipers use 350mm rotors stock
Brembo 6 pot 19Z - pistons 32/36/38 total piston area = 2956mm2 cayenne turbo S and 2008+ these calipers use 380mm rotors stock..

19Z calipers are much much harder to find but I did note a set of used 19Z calipers sometimes sell for about the same money (500-800$) as 18Z calipers.

also what is worthwhile to note is that spare parts like pistons and rebuild kits are cheaper and easier to source for these ´cayenne´ calipers than for our stock 3000gt calipers!!!!

    for reference stock 3000gt vr4 total piston area: 2721 (2g 314mm rotor)

17Z calipers would be an excellent choice too if someone wants to use smaller rotors like 330mm or so. many 17 inch wheels should fit very tight.. still a big big upgrade over stock calipers. 17Z calipers are also easier to source and cheaper.
