Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.
Positive vibs, and thoughts are all directed your way, kick some ass...

Thanks, guys. We are taking the laptop with his Netflix, a few racing games and he'll have the internets. The complex where we will stay has cable, so i think for the days he is feeling ok, he'll have plenty of entertainment options.
I'll be taking coloring books, War and Peace novel (my God, it's taking forever to read it!) and I'll be doing most of the running around. Hopefully, we'll be back before we know it and he'll be on the mend.![]()
I know you probably will, but please check in, and update us on things from time to time...
Well, this is the last night in our own bed for 80 days give or take. Our adventure begins in the morning. We will keep everyone posted with pictures and updates.
I had a talk and said good bye to the VR4 and told her I will be back soon and we will get to the track and REALLY show what she's made of. She can't wait!
Everyone has been so supportive over this past year. It was one year ago I was in he hospital pretty close to checking out in the ICU. Wow, what a year and how far I have come. Can't imagine where I would be without all the awesome support from all my family and friends. And of course Vicki.
We leave early in the morning to start the next leg of this journey. Excited to get it going. Excited to visit with some childhood friends (I grew up in MD) before the transplant starts. It's all very emotional. Most of the time in a good way.
Thank you all for the support. It means the world to me.
