sorry ill stick with hotmail, yahoo...

At&t, verizon... at least i know some freaky dude isnt trolling voice mails for fun on his time off.

He obviously wasn't greedy, i mean tap into a ceo's vmail and get some insider trading info! cash in! stalking teens takes priority over cash i guess.

I'll be honest, this could happen at any company, just so happens it took place at google.. I'll still lovingly use all my Gmail accounts.

Not every company has all your info, voicemails, emails, IM's, GPS tracking, purchase history, browsing history... Not even the US govt

google fanboi excuse but had the govt did this you guys would be screaming your heads off google gets a free pass hah, but no it can't. Do you realize the controls on your voicemails at verizon? or at&t?

I think Google needs a SOX audit.

People go to jail for this stuff so they take it seriously. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electro...ns_Privacy_Act

    fourth amendment anyone?

obviously google is doing what it wants and not taking it seriously.

And it costs. Google will be getting sued like nuts and im sure the govt will be stepping in also going HEY!

Maybe it's just because I behave that anything I send or leave on a VM could be listened to by anyone else and don't expect much privacy. The fact is that this was one dis-honest person, not the company. they fired him and moved on. If it becomes a habit and it's not just isolated incidences, then I'll be concerned. I would feel that way if it was a Verizon employee who did something like that, or anyone else.
