It didn't seem faked to me, but I'd be pissed that he just gave up so easily.

I've already figured out how to win the game. Place a blindfold on the person with the briefcase and go driving around until you find a good place to stash it, hide it, unblindfold the guy (or don't) and keep driving around til the time is up. This way one guy has absolutely no idea where it is and you just have to keep quiet.

It has to be fake, and it was also very poorly explained. Can the detainees say nothing the entire time? Why were they talking to begin with? Nothing was said stating that they had to divulge information. Furthermore, the detainees have no incentive to divulge information. They don't withhold food if they keep quiet or give a certain portion of the money if they tell. The brother had no reason to tell them where the money was except to get out 14 hours early. REALLY?!?! 14 hours?!?!

Give me a break. Lamest show I've ever seen. Only a blithering idiot would cough up information like he did with 14 hours to go and no other incentive to tell.
